Job summary

Thermotec is seeking candidates with material handling or warehouse experience that can handle fragile material. The correct candidate must be customer service oriented and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

This role involves inspecting orders for completeness, verifying production, ensuring product quality, reporting defects, reading orders for dimensions, stacking and loading items, keeping the area clean, assisting walk-in customers, and typing tickets for new orders.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to lift a minimum of 70 lbs.
• Know how to use a tape measure.
• Some computer knowledge.
• Some customer service experience.
• Pass a pre-employment background check.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Pass a pre-employment driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assure orders are complete.
• Verify all production.
• Ensure quality of products.
• Mark and report defects such as cracks, chips, scratches, or finishes.
• Read work orders to determine dimensions, cutting locations, and quantities.
• Stack items and load them on racks, carts or onto trucks.
• Clean and organize work area.
• Help walk-in customers.
• Type tickets for new orders.
