Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Shop Technician I for our Mechanical Product team at the New Stanton, PA facility. You will perform machining, assembly, and inspection tasks, with on-site requirements five days a week and initial training status.
You will report to the Assistant Area Manager, Breaker Shop, and contribute to quality and accuracy in a dynamic manufacturing environment, advancing with experience.

As a Shop Technician I on our Mechanical Product team, you will perform multiple assignments in support of machining, mechanical assembly, repair, refurbishment of equipment, components or tooling systems. You will perform electrical, mechanical and visual inspections following standard procedures, and will need to communicate information that requires little explanation or interpretation. Initial assignments are in a "training status” and all work is to be checked for quality and accuracy. Independent decision-making ability increases as experience is gained.
You will report to the Assistant Area Manager, Breaker Shop, and will be located at our New Stanton, PA facility. This is an anchor position that is required on site 5 days per week.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $49,533.76 to $63,440.01 per year.
