Job summary

Creative Technology Group in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a Fulltime Warehouse Associate to handle show equipment, packing, and inventory tasks. The role requires standing for long periods in a 70,000+ sq ft warehouse and lifting up to 50 pounds. Forklift certification and basic Microsoft Office skills are preferred.

Flexibility to work nights and weekends is expected, with overtime possible. Prior experience in a warehouse or shop environment is a plus, and the candidate should be able to work

Qualifications

• R2 basic knowledge.

• Experience in a warehouse or shop environment is a plus.
• Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Ability to spend 100% of work time standing or moving in a 70,000+ square foot warehouse.
• Physical activities include using hand tools, bending, stooping, lifting, climbing stairs, carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis.
• Certified to drive sit down and standup forklift.
• Computer literacy / experience with Microsoft Office a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and return show equipment to designated locations.
• Package and label items for transportation or based on show requirements.
• Coordinate with operations to substitutions on shortages.
• Receive sub-rented items into inventory to ensure fulfillment.
• Create shipping manifests or carnets prior to shipping.
• Move equipment to docking stations for outbound delivery.
• Load/unload trucks.
• Assist restocking delivered equipment across the warehouse locations.
• Document service in inventory system and report damaged equipment to operations.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance, QC, and items in repair.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
