Job summary

Creative Technology Group in Elgin, IL is seeking a Shop Technician to pull and stage equipment from our warehouse for outbound shows. This full-time, on-site role requires the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and to lift up to 50 pounds.

You will prepare items for transportation, label, receive sub-rented equipment, create shipping manifests, and maintain detailed inventory records.

Qualifications

• R2 basic knowledge.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently.
• Experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Must stand/walk in a 70,000 square foot warehouse.
• Certified to drive sit-down and standup forklifts.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Pull and stage equipment from warehouse for outbound shows.
• Prepare and label items for transportation.
• Coordinate substitutions for shortages with operations.
• Receive sub-rented items to ensure fulfillment.
• Create shipping manifests or carnet prior to shipping.
• Move equipment to docking stations for outbound delivery.
• Restock delivered equipment in the warehouse.
• Document service in inventory system and report damaged equipment.
• Maintain records of maintenance QC and repairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
