Job summary

Forklifts Group in San Diego, CA is seeking a skilled Shop Technician to join our field team as a Forklift Technician. The role offers a competitive hourly wage and a $2,000 sign-on bonus, with full-time hours and benefits.

You will diagnose and repair forklift models, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safety protocols. Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and customer service are essential to deliver reliable service to our customers.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience as forklift technician or similar role.
• Familiarity with electrical and hydraulic systems is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting ability.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose & Repair: get hands-on with various forklift models, troubleshooting issues and performing repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Routine Maintenance: conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance, ensuring our fleet runs smoothly and safely.
• Safety First: adhere to all safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety within the workplace.
• Team Collaboration: work closely with staff to coordinate repairs and minimize downtime.
