Velocity Truck Rental and Leasing in Rancho Dominguez, CA is seeking a Shop Support to join our team, working Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:30pm. The Shop Support role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe service shop and supporting shop staff with equipment needs.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication and customer service, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complete daily and weekly safety checklists and inspections.
• Assist shop employees with requests for equipment and tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop.
• Manages day-to-day operations of the tool room.
• Drain oil pan carts into the oil waste barrels.
• Monitors tools check in and check out procedure.
• Assists with special projects in the shop such as foot printing.
• Perform cleaning projects including the management of hazardous waste.
• Perform job related duties as assigned and needed.
