Job summary

Velocity Vehicle Group is seeking a Shop Support to join our team in a fast-paced service environment. The role focuses on keeping the shop clean, organized and safe while supporting technicians with tools and equipment requests.

The position runs Monday–Friday from 8:30am–5:00pm with a full-time schedule. CDL is required, and pay ranges from $24 to $25 per hour depending on experience, with benefits included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• CDL required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple demands, prioritize and stay organized.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily and weekly safety checklists and inspections.
• Assist shop employees with requests for equipment and tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the tool room.
• Drain oil pan carts into the oil waste barrels.
• Monitor tools check-in and check-out procedure.
• Assist with special projects in the shop such as foot printing.
• Perform cleaning projects including the management of hazardous waste.
• Perform job-related duties as assigned and needed.
