Job summary

Velocity Vehicle Group in Whittier, CA is seeking a Shop Support to join our Service team. The role supports the shop operations, keeps the tool room organized, and assists technicians with day-to-day tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and a mechanical aptitude; must have a valid Class B driver's license and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs; post-offer drug test and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple demands. Prioritize, and stay organized in a fast environment.
• Maintains wash rags and bay used in pressure washes.
• Must have valid Class B Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Service Department operations and shop activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tool room.
• Support technicians and daily shop tasks as needed.
• Participate in special cleaning projects and job-related duties.
