Shop Supervisor Requirements

• At least 3 years' experience operating and repairing Class 8 tractors and trailers with air brakes
• Management or supervision experience preferred (minimum 3 years)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience with TMT/Transman is a plus
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL A preferred

Primary Job Duties and Expectations

• Manage daily shop activities and schedules to ensure continuous service
• Maintain accurate inventory management
• Troubleshoot repairs, focusing on cost-effectiveness and preventative maintenance
• Develop safe, logical, and efficient solutions to support growth
• Work in all weather conditions
• Train, coach, and supervise shop mechanics and parts support staff
• Participate in hiring and disciplinary processes
• Provide feedback on shop activities and safety compliance
