Job summary

G&W Equipment, Inc. is seeking a Shop Service Technician to operate from our Charlotte, NC branch. You will diagnose and repair forklifts, aerial lifts, and other material handling equipment, performing preventive maintenance and on-site service.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, maintaining equipment, and delivering a positive customer experience while on-site in the field.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of Hydraulic Systems.
• Previous experience evaluating and repairing forklifts, heavy equipment, tractors, automobiles or similar pieces of equipment.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Must be computer literate, able to use tablet and a laptop for field diagnostics and internet resources.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, be able to pass preemployment drug screens, background checks, and physicals.
