Job summary
PowerTec Distribution & Motor Control Corporation is seeking a Shop Production Manager to lead planning, coordination, and execution of manufacturing, machining, fabrication, painting, assembly, and electrical operations on the shop floor. You will oversee diverse processes and drive efficiency in a dynamic production environment.
The role requires managing production personnel, schedules, safety compliance (OSHA/MSHA), and quality standards to ensure on-time delivery for switchgear and motor
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Three to five years of production management experience.
- One to three years of experience in steel/bus fabrication processes.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute manufacturing operations across shop, fabrication, painting, assembly, and electrical operations.
- Manage production personnel and schedules; ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Coordinate workloads, monitor productivity, and optimize equipment utilization.
- Balance resources across projects and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA/MSHA and electrical safety standards.
