Job summary

States Manufacturing Corporation is seeking a Production Supervisor with industry technical expertise to oversee projects from fabrication release to shipment. The role emphasizes coordination across fabrication, assembly, wiring, testing, and shipping to meet schedules and quality requirements.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of supervision experience, strong project management, ERP familiarity, and hands-on electrical knowledge.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of production supervision experience.
• Knowledge of electrical power distribution equipment.
• Experience wiring low voltage gear.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Pass background and drug test.
• Ability to work in a team to accomplish daily tasks.
• Strong project management and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and manages projects to production floor locations and personnel.
• Reviews project requirements for design accuracy, purchased goods, assembly and fabrication requirements as well as regulatory compliance requirements.
• Conduct design reviews and coordination of projects with plant manager, engineering, and sales.
• Coordinates cross departmental jobs for plant productivity and prioritization.
• Complete and facilitate design modifications, redlines and troubleshooting with production personnel and engineers.
• Reviews incoming purchased and produced goods to the assembly bays for accuracy and acceptability.
• Reviews completed projects for conformance with specifications, quality, and closeout requirements prior to shipping coordination.
• Interviewing, onboarding, training and reviews with direct reports.
• Participates and leads in company process improvements.
