Deans Services in Leesburg, FL is seeking a Mechanic to join our Fleet & Equipment Maintenance team. You’ll work in a dedicated shop maintaining company vehicles and field equipment used by our service teams. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with no weekends.
Starting pay is $20 per hour for a full-time role. You’ll repair and service small engines, perform oil changes and basic vehicle maintenance, and help keep the fleet running smoothly. Tools you own and teamwork are essential.

Position:Full-Time
Repair and maintain small engines, including 2-cycle and 4-cycle engines on equipment such as backpack blowers, trimmers, sprayers, and other field equipment. Perform basic vehicle maintenance including oil changes, brake work, tire rotations, and fluid or filter replacements. Assist with maintaining company vehicles and fleet equipment to ensure they remain reliable and ready for daily operations. Operate a forklift and assist with loading and unloading deliveries when needed. Maintain a clean, organized shop and help keep equipment, parts, and tools properly stored and stocked.
Your day will be spent in our equipment maintenance shop helping keep our fleet vehicles and field equipment running smoothly. You may start the morning inspecting and diagnosing issues with small engines and equipment used by our field technicians, such as backpack blowers, and trimmers. Throughout the day you’ll perform repairs and routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire service, and other basic vehicle upkeep. You may also assist with preparing equipment for technicians heading out into the field, receiving and unloading parts or equipment deliveries, and helping keep the shop clean, organized, and well stocked so everything runs efficiently.
