Job summary

Deans Services in Leesburg, FL is seeking a Mechanic to join our Fleet & Equipment Maintenance team. You’ll work in a dedicated shop maintaining company vehicles and field equipment used by our service teams. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with no weekends.

Starting pay is $20 per hour for a full-time role. You’ll repair and service small engines, perform oil changes and basic vehicle maintenance, and help keep the fleet running smoothly. Tools you own and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Small engine experience preferred.
• Basic vehicle maintenance skills required.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Must have own tools and toolbox.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain small engines on equipment.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance including oil changes, brake work, tire rotations, and fluids/filters.
• Maintain company vehicles and fleet equipment to ensure reliability.
• Operate forklift and assist with loading/unloading deliveries as needed.
• Keep shop clean, organized, and stocked.
