Job summary

Minuteman Press Woodbridge is seeking a versatile Graphic Designer / Print Production / Marketing Representative to support design work, manage print production processes, and contribute to marketing initiatives that strengthen brand presence. The position also includes ongoing client communication and day-to-day oversight of printing operations.

Location is on-site in Woodbridge, VA, with compensation in the range of USD 22–25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated graphic design experience with a strong portfolio featuring logo design, branding, digital art, layout design, and print materials.

Responsibilities

• Create draft mock-ups for website designs, brochures, iconography, and other marketing materials as needed.
• Coordinate with management to evaluate mock-ups, apply feedback, and produce final drafts.
• Revise and refine previous designers’ work to support a consistent brand look across materials.
• Manage multiple projects at the same time and meet draft deadlines consistently.
• Communicate with clients regularly and professionally to provide progress updates and address questions.
• Oversee daily printing operations, manage printing schedules, and maintain quality standards.
• Answer phones and assist with in-store customer inquiries.
• Support the business presence through in-store assistance and requested outside sales and marketing activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management or store owners.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

This onsite role blends graphic design, print production, and marketing support. You will develop visual concepts across digital and print deliverables, coordinate production workflows, and maintain quality while communicating with clients throughout each project.

Requirements

• Demonstrated graphic design experience with a strong portfolio featuring logo design, branding, digital art, layout design, and print materials.
• Working proficiency with design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), CorelDRAW, Sketch, Figma, and Adobe After Effects.
• Knowledge of print production processes, including file preparation for print and color management techniques.
• Strong understanding of typography design for media and digital platforms, along with photo editing and photo manipulation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present concepts clearly to clients and team members.
• Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop.
