Minuteman Press Cranberry Township is seeking a Graphic Designer/Customer Service Representative to design, prepare print-ready files, and coordinate daily client needs onsite in Cranberry Township, PA.

You will use Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop to deliver projects, ensure accuracy against specifications, and manage client files. Strong communication and multitasking abilities are essential for this hands-on role.

Qualifications

Job description

Minuteman Press Cranberry Township is hiring a Graphic Designer/Customer Service Representative to support clients with design, print-prep, and day-to-day customer coordination onsite.

Responsibilities

• Use design tools such as Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop to complete customer projects
• Layout and adjust projects based on customer requirements
• Prepare customer files for print production, including accuracy checks against work order/job specifications
• Review specifications from work orders and confirm client files are ready to produce jobs
• Develop and maintain client library files and organized file handling
• Learn and operate copiers/printers and complete finishing tasks, including cutting flyers and business cards, processing mailers, binding books, folding brochures, and padding notepads
• Provide customer service by assisting and consulting with clients in person, by phone, and via email
• Send customer proofs for approval and follow up on jobs with an Out to Proof status
• Maintain an orderly, organized work area

Requirements

• 2+ years experience with print layout (required)
• 2+ years experience with Adobe InDesign (required)
• Strong graphic and layout skills, with the ability to learn and grow with the company
• Ability to create new designs and concepts that meet customer needs
• Ability to correct supplied files to meet print requirements (for example: resizing and correcting bleed)
• Excellent people skills and communication skills; positive and friendly in person, over the phone, and via email
• Ability to work independently and multi-task while managing several client jobs at the same time
• Print or copy shop experience is preferred but not required
• Experience with print production, customer service, and real-world print design projects is preferred
