Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change in Houston is seeking a Shop Manager to lead daily operations, mentor crew, and ensure fast, high-quality oil changes while providing outstanding customer service. Paid training is offered to teach the Take 5 standard operating procedures and the team leadership approach.

This full-time role offers advancement opportunities from Assistant Manager to Manager-in-Training, with a base salary and bonus structure, plus benefits and a path to growth within Take 5’s internal

Qualifications

• Leadership experience is valued but not required.
• Paid training provided.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in hot/cold weather conditions.
• Willing to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation to and from the shop.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, onboarding and training new crew members.
• Create crew schedules and submit payroll.
• Control inventory and place product orders as necessary.
• Understand the shop’s financials to drive results and utilize budget wisely.
• Conduct quarterly employee evaluations.
• Support crew members with duties such as changing oil and performing other auto services.
