Superior Service Transport (SST) is seeking a Shop Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and oversee the lifecycle, safety inspections, diagnostics, and repairs across a diverse fleet in Salt Lake City. The role focuses on safety, process discipline, and continuous improvement.

You will mentor technicians, manage workflows, and ensure thorough service records while promoting efficiency and reliability in a fast-paced transportation environment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty diesel trucks and trailers.
• DOT certification for Air Brake Repairs & Inspections and/or DOT Annual Inspector certification preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in a maintenance environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced transportation environment.

As a Shop Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead our maintenance team and oversee equipment lifecycle management, safety inspections, diagnostics, and repairs across our fleet of tractors, trailers, converter dollies, and forklifts. You’ll manage workflows, ensure compliance through detailed service records, drive a safety-first culture, and mentor technicians to troubleshoot repairs and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Prior experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty diesel trucks and trailers preferred
• DOT certification for Air Brake Repairs & Inspections and/or DOT Annual Inspector certification preferred
• Experience working with propane lift trucks (forklifts) is a plus
• Leadership or supervisory experience in a maintenance environment preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced transportation environment
