Qualifications

• Must read and understand equipment requirements and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license with favorable traffic record.
• Forklift training or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• MSHA certification or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• First Aid/ AED/ CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• High School Diploma or GED completed.
• Minimum 1 year related experience preferred; inventory experience helpful.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Access and basic email use.
• Strong keyboarding skills for timely task completion.

Responsibilities

• Sort deliveries and place in designated storage areas; keep areas clean and organized.

• Transport staff to drop-off locations as needed.
• Perform courier duties between locations and main office.
• Pickup or receive parts and supplies and deliver to mechanics or shop inventory.
• Keep assigned vehicle clean and orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned and promote safety policies.
• Demonstrate mutual respect and strong customer service in all interactions.
• Maintain consistent attendance and time management with minimal supervision.

Job description

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

1. Sort deliveries and put into designated storage areas. Keep storage areas, parts containers, and shelves clean and organized.
2. Shuttles company vehicles to service vendors for maintenance and oil changes as requested.
3. Maintains accurate inventory schedules for management as requested. Give BOLs, delivery tags, or other relevant paperwork to staff as directed.
4. Shuttles employees to drop off locations
5. Performs courier duties between company locations and main office.
6. Picks up and/or receives parts/supplies from vendors and delivers to mechanics or shop inventory as instructed.
7. Maintains assigned company vehicle in a clean and orderly manner.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.
9. Promotes awareness of and follows Company and general safety policies.
10. Exhibits a core understanding of mutual respect and good customer service orientation in interactions with all people in the workplace.
11. Consistent attendance is required. Must be able to manage time efficiently with limited supervision

PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Basic math functions to perform daily tasks.
2. Must be able to read and understand equipment requirements and specifications.
3. Valid driver's license and favorable traffic abstract.
4. Forklift Operation or must obtain within the first 60 days of employment.
5. MSHA Certification or must obtain within the first 60 days of employment.
6. First Aid/AED/CPR Certification or must obtain within the first 60 days of employment
7. High School Diploma or GED
8. Minimum 1 year related experience preferred, within industrial repair shop or automotive/equipment repair setting. Experience with parts inventory a preferred.
9. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, Email. Adaptable to in-house software.
10. Keyboarding skills sufficient to complete tasks in a timely manner.
