Job summary

Vanguard Truck Centers LLC in Charlotte, NC seeks a Shop Foreman/Supervisor to ensure repairs are performed correctly and efficiently by qualified technicians, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. You will lead the Uptime workflow, recruit and motivate technicians, coach their skill development, enforce safety rules, and monitor productivity and service quality.

Two to four years of related experience, a CDL license (road testing allowed with time to obtain), and a competitive

• Two to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CDL license to be able to road test trucks. We can also allow a certain amount of time, 6 months for example, to gain this certification if applicant doesn’t have it.

Responsibilities

• Be the Uptime expert and enforce the Volvo Uptime workflow.
• Recruits, hires, and motivates qualified service technicians.
• Assists technicians in developing their skills.
• Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service operations.
• Maintains high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks; conducts periodic spot checks.
