Job summary

Wallwork Truck Center Grand Forks is seeking a Shop Foreman to lead and develop a high-performing team of technicians in our Grand Forks service department.

The role focuses on coaching, accountability, and building a culture that supports technicians' growth, productivity, and customer uptime. Leadership and communication skills are essential for success in this hands-on supervisory position.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a service, maintenance, trucking, agricultural, construction, or related environment.
• Ability to motivate, coach, and develop employees.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to build and lead effective teams.
• Basic understanding of heavy-duty truck repair and shop operations preferred.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor technicians, apprentices, and trainees.
• Foster a positive culture focused on teamwork, safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Support technician development through training, feedback, and career planning.
• Help technicians improve their skills, confidence, and productivity.
• Coordinate shop workflow and prioritize work assignments.
• Maintain high standards of quality, customer service, and efficiency.
• Work closely with Service Advisors, Parts, and Service Management to support customer uptime.
• Promote a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
