K-Five Construction Corporation is seeking a Mechanic Shop Foreman for the second shift to coordinate parts procurement, maintenance, and shop operations. You will supervise staff, ensure timely repairs, and maintain strong safety practices while aligning with project schedules in Chicagoland.

The role requires 3–5 years in parts procurement with supervisory responsibilities, strong communication, and proficiency with inventory systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of parts procurement experience with supervisory duties.
• Effective written and verbal communication with managers and suppliers.
• Proficient with MS Office and inventory/EOQ concepts.

Responsibilities

• Place part orders, review orders, and update inventory in online systems.
• Conduct daily safety talks and ensure shop safety.
• Coordinate with shop managers on repairs and issues.
• Inspect shop/yard areas for security of equipment.
• Audit inventory records and recommend excess/obsolete items.
• Expedite parts delivery to mechanics.
• Submit daily Shop Notes to all shop personnel.
