Atlantic Track & Turnout Co. in Richmond, Illinois is seeking a 2nd Shift Shop Foreman to lead the manufacturing operations and drive safe, efficient production on the Richmond site.

You will manage day-to-day workflow, coordinate teams, and ensure timely, quality output on heavy equipment and CNC machining processes. The role requires strong leadership, CNC experience, and a proven track record in manufacturing management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of CNC experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to obtain internal forklift and overhead crane operation certification.

The Shop Foreman will be responsible for the safe and successful management of operations at our facility in Richmond.This role will support our 2nd shift, which works Monday through Thursday from 3:00pm to 1:30am. Training will be conducted during 1st shift (Monday through Friday from 7:00am – 3:30pm) and then transition to 2nd shift.Roles and Responsibilities:Plans, organizes, and directly participates in the operations of the St. Clair site and runs an optimum day-to-day workflow in accordance with the Atlantic Track business planBuilds an effective, cooperative teamEnsures safe operations at all times, including writing and enforcing procedures for each area and documenting effective training programs for all employeesCommunicates effectively with site and corporate leadership to ensure proper coordinationMachines steel to meet required specificationsBuilds a working relationship of trust with the team, managing the activities of Laborers and Machinists to meet production and warehousing goalsOversees the operation of heavy equipmentEnsures that all necessary paperwork is accurate and submitted in a timely mannerBuilds familiarity with all work materials to better support the various needs of the teamMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC, etc.)Minimum of 8 years of CNC experience in a manufacturing environmentMinimum of 5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong background in achieving support to all levels of management.
