Transteck, Inc. operates the Freightliner of Philadelphia dealership in Levittown, PA, seeking a Shop Foreman to supervise technicians and ensure efficient repair operations. The role emphasizes coordinating repair orders, dispatching work, and driving productivity in a fast-paced shop environment.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in auto/truck service, a background as a mechanic, strong communication skills, and familiarity with computer systems, including CDK (ADP).

Qualifications

• Experience in an automobile or truck service center in a supervisory role.
• Some experience as a mechanic.
• Excellent communication and supervisory skills.
• Familiarity with computers.
• Experience with CDK (ADP) systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, motivate and assist technical staff.
• Bill out work on repair orders and dispatch to technicians.
• Monitor shop productivity and follow up on progress.
• Coordinate parts orders with the parts department.
• Maintain clean, fast-paced service environment.

Transteck, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Shop Foreman at our Freightliner of Philadelphia dealership located in Levittown, PA. Shop Foreman position: Position is directly responsible for supervising, motivating and assisting technical staff. Essential job functions include: billing out work performed on Repair Orders, dispatching work to technicians, monitoring of shop productivity, follow-up with work progress, coordinate parts orders with parts department, etc. Our facilities are kept clean and the pace is fast - all part of providing the best service to our customers.

Essential Job Functions Of Shop Foreman Include

• The ideal candidate will have experience in working in an Automobile or Truck Service Center in a supervisory role.
• Have some experience as a mechanic.
• Have excellent communication and supervisory skills.
• Familiarity with computers.
• We use CDK (ADP) business systems and experience with that system will be a plus.
