Job summary

Transteck, Inc. in Lancaster, PA is seeking a 2nd shift Shop Foreman to supervise and motivate our technical staff at the Freightliner of Lancaster dealership.

You will bill out work on repair orders, dispatch technicians, and monitor shop productivity. The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in an auto or truck service center, can operate CDK/ADP systems, communicate clearly, and coordinate parts with the parts department.

Qualifications

• Experience supervisory role in an automobile or truck service center.
• Strong communication and supervisory skills.
• Must be able to work 2nd shift as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, motivate and assist technical staff.

Transteck, Inc. has an immediate opening for a 2nd shift Shop Foreman at our Freightliner of Lancaster dealership. Shop Foreman position: Position is directly responsible for supervising, motivating and assisting technical staff. Essential job functions include: billing out work performed on Repair Orders, dispatching work to technicians, monitoring of shop productivity, follow-up with work progress, coordinate parts orders with parts department, etc. Our facilities are kept clean and the pace is fast - all part of providing the best service to our customers.

Essential Job Functions Of Shop Foreman Include

• The ideal candidate will have experience in working in an Automobile or Truck Service Center in a supervisory role.
• Be able to work 2nd shift as required
• Have some experience as a mechanic.
• Have excellent communication and supervisory skills.
• Familiarity with computers.
• We use CDK (ADP) business systems and experience with that system will be a plus.
