Job summary

Transteck, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Shop Foreman at our Freightliner of Philadelphia dealership located in Levittown, PA.

The Shop Foreman will supervise, motivate and assist technical staff, bill out work on repair orders, and coordinate with parts to keep the shop productive. The ideal candidate should have supervisory experience in an auto/truck service center, some mechanic experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have experience in working in an Automobile or Truck Service Center in a supervisory role.
• Have some experience as a mechanic.
• Have excellent communication and supervisory skills.
• Familiarity with computers.
• We use CDK (ADP) business systems and experience with that system will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Billing out work performed on Repair Orders.
• Dispatching work to technicians.

Shop Foreman position

Position is directly responsible for supervising, motivating and assisting technical staff. Essential job functions include: billing out work performed on Repair Orders, dispatching work to technicians, monitoring of shop productivity, follow-up with work progress, coordinate parts orders with parts department, etc. Our facilities are kept clean and the pace is fast - all part of providing the best service to our customers.

Essential job functions of Shop Foreman include
