Job summary

Transteck, Inc. is seeking a 2nd shift Shop Foreman to supervise and support the technical team at our Freightliner of Lancaster location.

The role includes billing out work, dispatching to technicians, tracking productivity, and coordinating parts orders to keep the shop running smoothly. The ideal candidate has experience in a truck or auto service center in a supervisory capacity, can work 2nd shift, has some mechanic experience, strong communication, and familiarity with computers; CDK (ADP)

2nd shift Shop Foreman

Transteck, Inc. has an immediate opening for a 2nd shift Shop Foreman at our Freightliner of Lancaster dealership.

Shop Foreman position

Position is directly responsible for supervising, motivating and assisting technical staff.

Essential job functions include:

• Billing out work performed on Repair Orders
• Dispatching work to technicians
• Monitoring of shop productivity
• Follow-up with work progress
• Coordinate parts orders with parts department

Essential job functions

• The ideal candidate will have experience in working in an Automobile or Truck Service Center in a supervisory role.
• Be able to work 2nd shift as required
• Have some experience as a mechanic.
• Have excellent communication and supervisory skills.
• Familiarity with computers.
• We use CDK (ADP) business systems and experience with that system will be a plus.
