Job summary

Transteck, Inc. is seeking a Body Shop Tech Assistant for its Freightliner of New Stanton Body Shop in Tarrs, PA. The role supports technicians, helps keep the shop clean and organized, and participates in disassembly/reassembly of components.

The position offers on-the-job training with opportunities to grow technical and leadership skills within a large, national dealer network. Equal opportunity employer; background checks and drug screen may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanically inclined and physically able to work in a shop setting.
• Experience preferred but on-the-job training is offered.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist body shop technician with repairs and replacements
• Help maintain the cleanliness/organization of the shop
• Disassemble/reassemble systems and components
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor
