Airbus Aerosystems Kinston is seeking a Technical Shop Floor Support specialist to assist the engineering department in timely addressing manufacturing non-conformities and implementing late production changes. You will interface with on-site back office for work-order adaptations and support production with technical questions.

This role emphasizes collaboration with manufacturing engineering, quality, and production teams in a 100% onsite environment.

Qualifikationen

• A bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Aerospace/Manufacturing Engineering or Engineering Technology is required.
• 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably Aerospace.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Travel required: 5% domestic and international.

Aufgaben

• Handle non-conformances: create work orders for production rework, verify technical content, and support changes.
• Provide technical responses to production questions and explain work orders/drawings, especially for aerospace components.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives with manufacturing and quality teams.
• Coordinate with ME Front Line Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure proper production information and tool readiness.
