Job summary

Goebel Fixture Company is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing activities, coordinate workflow, and ensure safe, on-budget, on-schedule production. You will lead shop floor resources, support employees, and drive quality while pursuing continuous improvement across teams.

You will work with project teams and department managers to meet production goals, delivery commitments, and customer expectations, fostering accountability and a safety‑driven culture on the shop

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience in manufacturing or woodworking.
• Strong scheduling, quality control, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor active work orders and ensure progress per schedule.
• Assign daily workforce and allocate resources for productivity.
• Reallocate staff to meet production demands and schedules.
• Collaborate with leads and managers to resolve capacity constraints.
• Ensure work orders meet delivery dates and customer commitments.
• Conduct shift start walks and end-of-shift cleanups.
• Lead bi-weekly production meetings with stakeholders.
• Monitor labor and production costs using ERP systems.
• Maintain budget compliance and review project data for variance.
• Evaluate finished work against standards and quality requirements.
• Provide coaching and development to shop floor employees.
• Promote safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Communicate updates and concerns across departments.
• Identify process improvements to boost throughput and efficiency.
