Epika Fleet Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Shop Equipment Mechanic to service construction and industrial equipment across the Southeast. The role emphasizes precision repairs, diagnostics, and keeping equipment safe and running for customers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of technician experience, strong mechanical skills, and is familiar with hydraulic and electrical systems. Valid CDL/driver's license and DOT readiness are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technician experience repairing and maintaining construction equipment.
• Strong mechanical background across engines, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and understanding schematics.
• Owns tools necessary for the position.
• Team player with good verbal and written communication.
• Commitment to safe, high-quality service.
• Must pass background check, drug screen and DOT physical.
• Acceptable MVR on file.

Responsabilités

Responsibilities

What you will do:

• Perform maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems across a variety of equipment
• Use independent judgment to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently
• Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot equipment problems
• Complete accurate service documentation as needed
• Order parts from vendors as required to complete repairs
• Provide safe, superior customer service on every job

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

• 5+ years of technician experience repairing and maintaining construction equipment; aerial equipment experience a plus
• Strong mechanical background, including various engine types, hydraulic and electrical systems, and construction equipment
• Experience using diagnostic tools and an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
• Ownership of tools applicable to the position
• Strong teamwork, verbal, and written communication skills
• Commitment to safe, superior customer service as a top priority
• High school diploma and valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and DOT physical
• Acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
