Job summary

Epika Fleet Services, Inc. is seeking a Shop Equipment Mechanic to join our team serving construction and industrial equipment customers across the Southeast.

You will perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems, and diagnose issues with precision. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on experience, a solid mechanical background, and proficiency with diagnostic tools and schematics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technician experience repairing and maintaining construction equipment; aerial equipment experience a plus.
• Strong mechanical knowledge across engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and construction equipment.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and reading schematics/diagrams.
• Owning the necessary tools for the position.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Commitment to safe, superior customer service as a top priority.
• High school diploma and valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and DOT physical.
• Acceptable MVR on file.

Responsibilities

• Experience using diagnostic tools and an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
• Ownership of tools applicable to the position
• Strong teamwork, verbal, and written communication skills
• Commitment to safe, superior customer service as a top priority
• High school diploma and valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and DOT physical
• Acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
