Job summary

MGX Equipment Services is hiring at the Kansas City branch for a Shop Crane Technician. This entry-level role reports to the Service Manager and offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days, plus participation in a Tool Reimbursement Program of up to $1,500 per calendar year.

Training plans and career growth are outlined during onboarding. Typical duties include learning technician tasks, assisting with inspections and repairs, and ensuring tools/equipment are in good working order.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience as general laborer or yard worker in construction/heavy equipment preferred.
• Mechanical background with electrical and hydraulics experience required.
• Must have valid driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Learn the responsibilities of a Shop Crane Technician under supervision.
• Assist shop techs with inspections and repairs.
• Inspect tools and equipment to ensure proper working order.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
