Job summary

CraneWorks, LLC is seeking a Shop Crane Technician to join our Service department. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of crane equipment, including mobile cranes of various types.

The role requires experience with electrical and hydraulic systems and the ability to work with CANBUS, ECOS, LICCON, and more. Orientation will begin in Houston, TX with in-person skills aptitude testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Mobile Crane Mechanic/Technician with crane operation and inspection.
• Ability to read operating manuals, parts manuals and technical drawings.
• Tests after repair to OEM specs, ensuring proper operation.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair crane equipment including mobile cranes.
• Operate and inspect cranes to diagnose defects.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance.
• Fill out reports, time sheets, and work orders.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communication.
• Travel 1–4 day intervals for field techs; overtime and weekends may be required.
