Job summary

Bigge Crane and Rigging is seeking a Crane Technician in the United States to repair, service and maintain rough terrain, crawler and mobile cranes as well as forklifts. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background in electrical, drivetrain, engines, hydraulics and computer-controlled systems with a high level of diagnostic expertise.

The role requires reading hydraulic and electrical schematics, performing crane inspections, and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience repairing and maintaining rough terrain, crawler, and mobile crane equipment.
• Read schematics (hydraulic and electrical).
• High school diploma required; vocational training a plus.
• Supply own hand tools and maintain tool inventory; valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain rough terrain, crawler, and mobile crane equipment, and forklifts.
• Diagnose mechanical issues in electrical, drive train, engines, hydraulics, and computer-controlled systems.
• Read schematics (hydraulic and electrical).
• Perform annual certifications and inspections on cranes.
• Work evenings and weekends for crane repairs as needed.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors and personnel.
• Lift up to 40 lbs.
