Job summary

The Manitowoc Company is seeking a Shop Crane Technician trainee at our Bloomington, MN location. You will learn the duties of a Shop Crane Technician under the guidance of the Service Manager and experienced technicians, gaining hands-on experience in inspections, repairs, and tool checks.

This full-time role offers growth opportunities, a $25.00–$30.00 hourly rate, a $2,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days of continuous service, and a tool reimbursement program up to $1,500 per calendar year.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical background with experience in electrical and hydraulics.
• Self-starter with initiative to advance; strong customer service orientation.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• May travel to other locations for cross-training.

Responsibilities

• Under guidance of the Service Manager and other shop technicians, learns the responsibilities of a Shop Crane Technician.
• Helps shop techs perform inspections and repairs.
• Inspects tools and equipment to ensure they are in working order.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
