RUA in Salem, VA is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Lead to coordinate technicians, oversee maintenance shop operations, and resolve scheduling issues. You will manage parts inventory, approve work orders in MAXIMO, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
The role requires 3–5 years of fleet maintenance experience, ASE certification preferred, and a lead or supervisory background. Work hours are nights, on-site, Sunday through Thursday, in a full-time capacity with benefits.
Coordinates the workflow and oversees the work of the technicians in the maintenance shop. Identifies and resolves service repair and scheduling problems. Manages inventory levels and orders parts. Assists Service Manager in running the shop.

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday
Hours: 9:00pm - 6:00am
Job Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma/GED; Prefer Associate, Vocational or Technical Degree with current status of ASE Certified Technician
Experience: 3-5 years of fleet maintenance experience and previous mechanic experience is required in addition to minimum of one year experience as a lead technician or leadership role.
