Schneider is seeking a Shop Cleaning Technician in Sterling, IL to manage cleaning of refrigerated trailers and assist in shop duties. This full-time role on the third shift runs 10:00 p.m. – 8:30 a.m.

Monday–Wednesday, with every other weekend. Starting wages range from $17.00 to $21.20 per hour based on experience, plus benefits. Responsibilities include washing trailers, maintaining the shop and yard, and moving tractors between areas.

• Valid driver's license and must meet Schneider DMV standards.

Job overview:

• Handle the cleaning of refrigerated trailers and related equipment as a Shop Cleaning Technician in Sterling, IL.

  • Non-exempt U.S. shop associates working 50% or greater of the daily shift time between 3 p.m. and 5 a.m. local time, receive a $1.50 per hour differential for hours worked.
  • Non-exempt U.S. shop associates working weekend hours, receive an additional $0.65 per hour differential for hours worked. (Weekend hours worked between 9pm Friday – 5am Monday).
