Job summary

Power Technique North America LLC is seeking a Service Technician Apprentice in Rock Hill, SC to perform routine preventive maintenance on portable industrial equipment under supervision. This role requires a High School diploma or GED and offers opportunities to grow in a maintenance-focused team.

Daily duties include reading technical documentation, using Outlook, Excel and Word, maintaining tools, and meeting safety standards while delivering first-time-right fixes.

Qualifications

• 6 months of technical service experience performing routine preventive maintenance on portable industrial equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
• Excellent communication with a strong customer focus.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on portable industrial equipment in a shop setting under supervision.
• Follow safety standards and use PPE.
• Record hours worked daily and maintain proper tool inventory.
• Read, understand, and use technical documentation.
• Participate in training to improve equipment maintenance skills.
