Job summary

Atlas Copco Group in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Service Technician Apprentice to perform routine preventive maintenance on portable industrial equipment under supervision.

You will gain hands-on experience with air compressors, generators, light towers, engines, pumps, and energy storage systems, while developing skills in mechanical and electrical diagnostics and customer service.

The role requires at least 6 months of experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of technical service experience performing routine preventive maintenance on portable industrial equipment with demonstrated quality outcomes.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on portable industrial equipment including air compressors, generators, light towers, engines, pumps, and energy storage systems under supervision.
• Follow safety standards and use provided PPE.
• Maintain work utilization at 75% or higher.
• Read, understand, and use technical documentation.
• Record hours worked on jobs daily.
• Provide basic tools and maintain them in good order.
• Participate in technical training to improve skills and competencies.
• Communicate with internal and external customers clearly and collaboratively.
