Northern Tool + Equipment is seeking a skilled Mechanic in Rock Hill, SC to service and repair customer-purchased equipment. You will source and order parts, diagnose engine issues, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of our brands while ensuring accurate reporting and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a customer-focused approach to deliver a hassle-free service experience. Strong communication and technical skills are essential to succeed in this busy store

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience repairing and maintaining small engines.
• Ability to explain diagnosis and repair to customers clearly.
• Ability to follow safety and security procedures.
• Commitment to respectful, positive team environment and company values.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of small engine theory (2- and 4-stroke).
• Certifications in major brands (Honda, Kohler, Briggs & Stratton) is a plus; Master certification is desirable.
• Experience with hydraulic theory and related diagnostic equipment.
