Job summary

Power Technique North America LLC in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Service Technician Apprentice to perform routine preventive maintenance on portable industrial equipment in a shop environment. You will work under supervision, follow safety standards, and strive for high utilization while documenting hours and learning through hands-on technical training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months technical service experience performing routine preventative maintenance on portable industrial equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Proficiency in using computer applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on portable industrial equipment in a shop setting.
• Follow safety standards and wear PPE.
• Maintain equipment utilization of 75% or higher.
• Record hours worked on jobs daily.
• Read, understand and use technical documentation.
• Provide basic tools and maintain them in good working order.
• Communicate with customers in a clear, positive, collaborative manner.
