Job summary

Trillium Staffing is seeking a Shop Assistant to join our client's growing team. The role involves pulling and prepping raw materials for orders, supporting machine operators and welders, and performing grinding, deburring, tapping, and drilling as needed.

This second shift runs Monday through Thursday from 3:00 pm to 1:30 am. Wages range from $20 to $24 per hour and are experience-based. Training is available for candidates with mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years' work history in an industrial/shop environment.
• Previous fabrication shop experience a huge plus.
• Ability to multi-task and take on new duties.
• Experience with hand/power tools.
• Experience with micrometers and calipers a huge plus.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Pull and prep raw materials for upcoming orders.
• Assist machine operators and welders with production needs.

• Ensure all raw materials are accounted for and tracked.

Trillium Staffing is currently seeking a Shop Assistant to add to our client's growing team!

The main duties of the Shop Assistant will be to pull and prep raw materials for upcoming orders. Other duties include assisting machine operators and welders with production needs, grinding/deburring, tapping, drilling, and making sure all raw materials are accounted for and tracked accurately. Assisting with operation of lasers, brakes presses, saws and other methods of fabrication may also be involved in this role. The company is willing to train a candidate with a mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn!

This is a second shift position working Monday through Thursday 3:00pm to 1:30am. Wages are based on experience $20-$24/hr.
