Job summary

Grainger is seeking a Salesperson to drive the Shoemobile (45' tractor-trailer) to industrial customer job sites, delivering exceptional sales and service for safety shoe programs. CDL required; travel 2–3 overnights weekly within a ~150 mile radius; strong customer service mindset and self-motivation are essential.

You will assist customers with footwear selection and sizing, maintain stock, process orders and returns, and ensure DOT compliance while on the road and at the showroon.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class A CDL license.
• Sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Willing to travel overnight 2–3 nights per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist customer with selecting footwear and proper fitting.
• Maintain truck stock and inventory levels.
• Process all customer orders, returns, and exchanges while on the Shoemobile.
• Comply with all Department of Transportation regulations for safe Shoemobile operation.
• Accurately maintain a DOT logbook.
• Partner with Branch / DC for restocking / replenishment.
• Partner with Truck Leasing for remote parking, fueling, and maintenance of Shoemobile.
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse and SM showroom.
