Job summary

Steve Madden is seeking a part-time Shoe Stylist to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales. You will greet customers, learn product details, and support store operations while maintaining a friendly, sales-driven environment.

The role emphasizes using selling techniques, building a client base, and staying flexible with hours including weekends and holidays. Previous retail experience is preferred, with strong communication skills a must.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of retail experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer to provide outstanding service.
• Maintain outstanding standards in customer service.
• Understand product information, promotions, test merchandise, and advertising efforts.
• Demonstrate salesmanship to achieve sales productivity targets.
• Assist in store operations including floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and inventory returns.
• Be flexible and perform duties outside of the specific role when needed.
