Job summary

Steve Madden is seeking a part-time Shoe Stylist to deliver exceptional customer service and build a client base to drive sales. The role involves greeting customers, knowing product information, and supporting store merchandising and operations.

You will work in a fast-paced retail environment, using the POS system and collaborating with team members to meet sales goals. Availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system.
• Flexible schedule with retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and greet every customer.
• Maintain high standards of customer service across all interactions.
• Know product information, promotions, test merchandise, and advertising efforts.
• Demonstrate salesmanship and achieve sales productivity.
• Assist in store operations, merchandising, floor moves, and inventory returns.
• Be flexible and perform tasks outside of the role when needed.
