Job summary

Famous Footwear is hiring for a store associate to drive daily retail operations and deliver outstanding customer experiences. You will manage pricing, shipments, inventory, and in-store visuals while upholding our customer-centric culture.

You'll engage customers, recommend the right footwear, and work with a diverse team to achieve sales goals. This role includes flexible hours and opportunities for growth within Caleres’ family of brands.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to build constructive relationships within the store environment.
• Strong communication skills with store associates at all levels.
• Demonstrates independent judgment and discretion when partnering with Store Sales Manager.
• Solid working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment, and inventory) are dialed in.
• Deliver exceptional customer engagement and uphold the Famous Culture in every interaction.
• Review store performance and drive sales with purpose and urgency to meet goals.
• Maintain integrity by following company policies and seeking feedback for growth.
• Foster an inclusive, positive work environment and support training and development.
• Assist customers in finding the right shoes to ensure a perfect fit and a 'Famous' experience.
