Job summary

Famous Footwear, a Caleres brand, is hiring a Sales Associate in Houston to create a welcoming store experience, assist customers with shoe selections, manage inventory, and keep the floor tidy and merchandised to boost sales.

You will engage customers, share product knowledge, work with team to meet daily goals, handle shipments and pricing, and contribute to a positive, inclusive store culture while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to build constructive relationships with store staff.
• Strong communication with team members at all levels.
• Ability to work independently with Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work in a team and flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ace Retail Operations: ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipments, fulfillment, inventory) are dialed in and the store runs clean and organized.
• Be a Famous Culture Influencer: provide stellar customer engagement and leave customers wowed with top-notch experiences.
