Job summary

Caleres is seeking a friendly Famous Footwear Sales Associate to create an engaging in-store experience and help customers find the perfect fit. You’ll support daily operations, merchandise presentation, and share knowledge of trends to boost sales and brand loyalty.

You will foster a positive, inclusive culture, collaborate with the store team, and deliver excellent customer service while meeting sales goals and store standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to build constructive relationships within store.
• Excellent communication with store associates.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment with Store Sales Manager.
• Strong knowledge of general retail practices.
• Team player with ability to work across shifts.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipments, fulfillment and inventory) are dialed in.
• Champion a Famous culture with stellar customer engagement.
• Review store performance and drive sales with urgency.
• Maintain integrity and adhere to company policies.
• Uplift teammates and assist with training and development.
• Act as a shoe expert to recommend the perfect fit.
