Job summary

Famous Footwear at Caleres seeks a Sales Associate who creates a welcoming store experience and helps customers find perfect fits. You’ll work with a team to keep shelves organized, prices accurate, and styles easily shoppable, driving loyalty and sales.

You stay informed on trends, deliver engaging customer service, and uphold integrity and teamwork. The role requires a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, with growth opportunities within Caleres.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to build constructive relationships with store associates.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.
• Demonstrates independent judgment and discretion in partnership with Store Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment and inventory) are dialed in to keep the store running smoothly.
• Provide stellar customer engagement and build engaging customer experiences that drive loyalty.
• Review store performance and drive sales with purpose and urgency to achieve goals.
• Communicate clearly and timely with the store team and practice active listening to ensure understanding.
• Support training and development for teammates and uphold company policies with integrity.
